Dave Wessely

I represent Bob Sazama as a buyer of stamps and covers in Ohio and neighboring states, at stamp shows and with personal visits.

I am a retired high school mathematics teacher of 34 years and have been a stamp dealer since 2000. I am a member of the American Philatelic Society, the American Stamp Dealers Association, the National Stamp Dealers Association, and the Midwest Stamp Dealers Association. Within the north east Ohio area, I am a member of the Garfield Perry Stamp Club (Cleveland), the Akron Collectors Club and the Black River Stamp Club (Elyria). In a typical calendar year I will set up at about 20 stamp shows using my business name of "A ONE COVERZ" Look for me at stamp shows under that banner.

I grew up in Lakewood, Ohio but have lived in Elyria, Ohio since 1971. I lived and worked in Africa for 5 years (Botswana 3 and Egypt 2). I have degrees from Muskingum College and the Ohio State University. I am a life time stamp collector and specialize in postal history and worldwide revenues.

Bob Sazama.

I am a professional stamp dealer and I belong to the following professional dealer organizations; American Stamp Dealers Association, National Stamp Dealers Association, and the Florida Stamp Dealers Association. I am also a member of 5 different Florida stamp Clubs.

I am in constant need for all good stamps, covers and postcards for my customers around the world. You can rest assured that our transactions will be fast and fair.

I live in The Villages, Florida. Originally from Illinois, my interest in stamps was sparked by my membership in the Boy Scouts of America. Yes, I earned the stamp collecting merit badge on my way to becoming an Eagle Scout.

After graduating from Southern Illinois University, I taught school for 9 years. Next was a job with the Federal government administering continuing education programs for the US military in Germany, Japan, Saudi Arabia and on several military installations in the US.

Along the way I began to sell stamps part time in 1985 through the mail. Then I began selling stamps at shows throughout Missouri, Kansas, and the Midwest until moving to Japan in 1995. Having befriended a Japanese stamp dealer I began selling stamps all across Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, Kobe, etc). At the same time I then began traveling to and selling stamps China, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, Prague, Bangkok, San Paulo, and Kuala Lumpur. Next having moved back to the states from living overseas I began traveling to shows all across the US and eventually concentrating on stamp shows in the Southeastern part of the US.

I regularly attend shows in Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina and at the following locations in Florida: Orlando, Tallahassee, Sarasota, Ocala, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and Clearwater. My colleague Dave Wessely represents me as a buyer in Ohio and neighboring states.
